Acceptable Use Policy

Rules protecting customers, networks, carriers and the public from unlawful or abusive activity

Lawful Use

Use Triton services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with telecommunications, consumer-protection, privacy, messaging, fax and carrier requirements.

Prohibited Voice Activity

  • Illegal robocalling or prerecorded calling.
  • Caller-ID spoofing intended to defraud or cause harm.
  • Fraud, scams, impersonation, harassment or threats.
  • Artificially inflated traffic, traffic pumping or access stimulation.
  • Wangiri, callback, toll-fraud or revenue-share schemes.
  • Unauthorized high-risk international traffic.
  • Evasion of robocall-mitigation, traceback or carrier controls.

Prohibited Messaging and Fax

  • Messaging or faxing without required consent.
  • Purchased, rented, scraped or improperly sourced lists.
  • Evasion of 10DLC or toll-free verification.
  • Failure to honor opt-outs.
  • Unsolicited advertising faxes or prohibited content.

Prohibited Security Activity

  • Credential sharing or unauthorized access.
  • Network probing, scanning, denial-of-service, malware or exploitation.
  • Accessing another customer’s information.
  • Interference with Triton systems, portals, APIs, carriers or vendors.

Downstream and Reseller Use

Resale to unidentified downstream providers is prohibited unless approved. Resellers must identify customers and maintain compliance records.

Investigation and Enforcement

Triton may investigate, request KYC or traffic documentation, block destinations, reject messages, suspend service, preserve records and cooperate with lawful investigations.

Report Abuse

Report suspected fraud, abuse or security issues to security@tritontelephone.com or Triton support.
