Security Approach
Triton uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to its services and information.
Security Practices
- Administrative portals use HTTPS/TLS.
- Access is limited according to job responsibilities.
- Triton monitors service activity for fraud and unauthorized use.
- Systems and software are maintained through patching and review procedures.
- Backups and geographic redundancy support recovery operations.
Customer Responsibilities
- Protect portal, SIP, API and device credentials.
- Use unique passwords and MFA when available.
- Secure PBXs, routers, firewalls and endpoints.
- Restrict unnecessary high-risk calling.
- Monitor usage and report suspicious activity.
Healthcare-Oriented Workflows
Avoid claiming Triton or eFaxify is “HIPAA certified.” Safer wording is that eFaxify supports security-conscious and HIPAA-oriented workflows, subject to configuration, safeguards and BAA eligibility.
Security Incidents
Triton investigates suspected incidents and provides notices when required by law, regulation and agreement.
