Service Availability and High-Availability Terms

Definitions and limitations for public availability language and optional multi-region HA services

Effective: August 3, 2026Last updated: August 3, 2026

Availability Language

References to a 99.99% uptime focus describe an operational objective unless a signed service schedule expressly creates a measured commitment and remedy.

Covered Services and Measurement

Any contractual metric must identify the service, measurement point, reporting source, calculation period and minimum qualifying outage.

Common Exclusions

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
  • Customer PBX, equipment, power, LAN, firewall or configuration.
  • Public Internet or customer ISP failures.
  • Third-party events outside the defined service boundary.
  • Fraud controls, suspension, legal compliance or customer-requested changes.
  • Force majeure and agreement exclusions.

Two-Region and Three-Region HA

Eligible HA trunk groups may be configured across selected Triton regions. Three-region service is designed around Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Health Checks and Failover

Failover depends on the health-check method, qualifying condition, routing policy, customer destination and service design. A successful health check does not guarantee every call.

Customer Requirements

  • Approved and reachable destinations.
  • Compatible PBX, signaling, firewall and routing.
  • Accurate trunk and failover information.
  • Testing before production reliance.
  • Prompt updates when destinations change.

Service Credits

No service credit is offered unless stated in a signed agreement or schedule. Claim deadlines and remedies must be defined there.
